Biography:

Dr. Schmid is a highly experienced and dedicated general practitioner with a focus on personalized and holistic medicine. He completed his medical studies at the Medical University of Varna, including a valuable exchange year at the National Medical University OO Bogomolets in Kyiv. After gaining practical experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, and gynecology, Dr. Schmid deepened his expertise in emergency and maritime medicine.

From 2021 onwards, he specialized in emergency and general medicine at the Center for Emergency Medicine in Varna. His expertise extends beyond clinical practice—he has served as a medical advisor for Global Voyager Assistance and as a maritime telemedicine consultant, where he played a key role in medical evacuations and consultations at sea. He was also a speaker at the prestigious International Scientific Maritime Health Conference, presenting his research on air ambulance evacuations.

In 2024, Dr. Schmid opened his own general practice, providing comprehensive and individualized care for patients. His holistic approach integrates cutting-edge diagnostics with personalized treatment plans to ensure his patients achieve sustainable, long-term health improvements.
